The Pacific Flyway Decoy Association was established in 1971 by a handful of carvers who sought to promote and preserve the North American tradition of hand-carved, wood decoys. They created the Wildfowl Art Festival to serve this purpose. Today, we are preparing for our 39th Annual Festival. The show will be held at the Sacramento Doubletree Hotel over the weekend of July 11th and 12th.. The festival promises something for everyone, whether you are a carver or wildlife artist seeking to compete nationally, a collector of these fine pieces, or wish simply to learn about this longstanding tradition of quality. The 2009 show promises to be exciting. |
